“It’s an honor to help these two organizations raise awareness and provide opportunities for young women in the IT field,” said Natalie Catliota, VP of Operations for NetCentrics. “Community involvement is part of our culture and core values, and it’s exciting to be able to positively influence the future for women leaders in our field.”
All proceeds from the event go to STEM for Her 501(c)(3), which promotes education to create awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and young women to pursue successful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. WIT has the sole aim of advancing women in technology – from the classroom to the boardroom. WIT meets its vision through a variety of leadership development, technology education, networking and mentoring opportunities for women at all levels of their careers.
NetCentrics has supported a number of WIT events since it joined in 2015 and is proud to support WIT as a manager level sponsor. To learn more about WIT and future events, visit http://www.womenintechnology.org/.
