Kenny Cushing is our Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Kenny has over 27 years of diverse business leadership, management consulting, and military experience across the private sector, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian Agencies.

Prior to joining NetCentrics, Kenny served as the Senior Vice President of Defense at Avantus Federal, leading their largest division. He has held multiple senior executive roles to include Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Cyber Products for General Dynamics Mission Systems; led two start-ups at The Odin Group and Pivvit; served as the CTO of the Mission Operations Directorate at the National Reconnaissance Office; and, as a management consultant and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company.

Kenny is a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force (Reserves) and in this role he is the senior DoD official at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) at the Department of Homeland Security.

Kenny is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He holds advanced degrees from American Military University and The George Washington University and completed Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Program for Cybersecurity and McKinsey & Company’s MBA program in connection with Harvard Business School.

Kenny is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and is a member of Business Executives for National Security (BENS). He is married to his best friend, Chelsea, and has three sons, Logan, Adrien, and Dorian.

Graham Napier brings over three decades of extensive experience in business development, strategic investments and executive leadership to the NetCentrics board. He is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation across various industries.

Graham is a founding partner at StealthPoint venture capital firm where he oversees sales, operations and restructuring. StealthPoint provides critical capital infusions to companies that support the defense and intelligence communities to help them successfully navigate growth and fuel digital transformation in critical industries.

Graham is also a founding managing partner at Alveras which focuses on investing in and implementing go-to-market strategies for early-stage technology companies.

Graham’s previous professional experience includes a Program Director role at Cisco where he led international business programs and successfully divested multiple software product units. While serving as a Managing Director at Jasper Hill Ventures, he provided international business development, consulting and advisory services for the portfolio investments.

As a President and CEO of TradeBeam Holdings which specialized in SaaS supply chain and trade finance solutions, Graham grew the company from $1M to $28M in annual recurring revenue. Serving as a President and COO of Fritz Companies, Graham managed a global network of 400 offices and 14,000 employees, leading the company through its acquisition by UPS. In his role as a VP/GM of Strategic Business Development & New Ventures at Allied Signal, Graham led global logistics and strategic business development.

Thomas Clancy

Thomas Clancy is the Managing Director at Tao Venture Partners and a seasoned investor and executive with extensive experience in both private and public sectors. Throughout his career, he has made over 30 early-stage investments, including four notable exits exceeding $1 billion. As the founder of three software companies, Thomas has a demonstrated history of entrepreneurial success and leadership.

Thomas has served on public company boards and is qualified for audit committee roles. His early career was marked by managing software innovation and product development, followed by executive management roles in the 1990s. From 1998 to 2006, he was an institutional venture capitalist. Currently, Thomas is active as a Super Angel investor, fundraiser, and interim CxO.

His previous roles include leadership positions at Jazzware, Zero Oxygen Solutions, and Winedirect. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Thomas’s diverse expertise encompasses start-ups, venture capital, strategic partnerships, entrepreneurship, and product management.

Lt. Gen. Joseph T. Guastella Jr. (Ret.) was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Arlington, Virginia. There, in support of the Chief of Staff and Secretary of the Air Force, he led the development and implementation of policy directly supporting global operations, force management, weather, training and readiness across air, space and cyber fields. He served as the Air Force Operations Deputy to the Air Force Chief of Staff.

Lt. Gen. Guastella entered the Air Force in 1987 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He was a command pilot with more than 4,000 flight hours in the F-16 and A-10. He served multiple combat tours and instructed at the U.S. Air Force Fighter Weapons School. Lt. Gen. Guastella commanded the 555th Fighter Squadron, “Triple Nickel,” Aviano Air Base, Italy, the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, and the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, Bagram, Afghanistan. Prior to this, Lt. Gen. Guastella was the Commander, Air Forces Central Command, Al Udeid AB, Qatar.

His staff assignments as a general officer included Deputy Director of Strategic Plans and Programs, A8, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Arlington, Va., Deputy Director of Requirements, J8, Joint Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations and Intelligence, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Casteau Belgium, and Director of Integrated Air, Space, Cyberspace and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Operations, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB, Colorado.

Lt. Gen. Guastella (Ret.) is a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College, National War College and the Senior Executive Fellows program.

John Felker is President of Morse Alpha Associates, Inc., a cyber leadership consultancy, serves as a member of the Parsons Corporation Senior Advisory Board, Executive Director for Cyber Security at Seebald Group International and is a Senior Advisor to the Chertoff Group, the Maritime Transportation System ISAC, SRM, an international cyber intelligence, response, and resilience company.

Felker is the former Assistant Director for Integrated Operations, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and previously served as the Director of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center from 2015 to 2019. Prior to joining CISA, Felker worked as Director of Cyber and Intelligence Strategy for HP Enterprise Services and in a 30-year career, served as Deputy Commander, Coast Guard Cyber Command; Commander, Coast Guard Cryptologic Group, as Executive Assistant to the Director of Coast Guard Intelligence and commanded the cutters CAPE UPRIGHT and RED CEDAR.

Joshua Weed is a full-time investor in both private ventures and real estate partnerships. Josh is a Partner and Senior Director at Veteran Ventures Capital, where he leads the Fund’s investment committee.  He is also a limited partner in several privately-held investments.

In his corporate career, Josh was a dynamic executive with proven results leading operations, financial, and corporate services organizations in both the public and private sector. From 2012 to 2020, Josh held executive roles with increasing responsibilities within Stewart & Stevenson, a privately-held manufacturer, and distributor of specialized equipment serving the oil & gas, marine, transportation, power generation, and material handling industries. In 2015, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer leading all aspects of business operations, FP&A and corporate shared services. He helped develop Corp Strategy and M&A activities, taking responsibility for its execution. These strategic efforts culminated with the successful sale of Stewart & Stevenson to Kirby Corporation (NYSE: KEX) for $752 million.

For 10 years prior to joining the private sector, Josh honorably served as an Air Force financial management officer. He managed a $32 billion-dollar Ops & Maintenance appropriated fund portfolio at HQ Air Force (Pentagon). He also served in a variety of wing and command assignments culminating in his final job leading all aspects of budget and financial operations across the Air Force Command in Europe and Africa, overseeing a $2B budget.  He continues his service today part-time as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves in the Air Force Budget Office (Pentagon).

Josh was a 2001 Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with dual majors in Economics and Operations Research. He also earned his masters and Ph.D. in Policy Analysis with General Distinction from the RAND Graduate School. He has graduated from numerous military colleges, schools and training programs, most notably: the Air Command and Staff College, the Defense Comptroller School and the Squadron Officer School. Josh is a Certified Defense Financial Manager and Level 3 Certified in the Office of Secretary of Defense Comptroller Certification Program. He is also the author of several research publications and articles.

Brian Hibbeln’s three decades in the Department of Defense and the US Intelligence Community have earned him accolades for his ability to unite people, funding and advanced technologies to benefit warfighters. Today, he is a sought-after strategic advisor to policy institutes, technology associations and growth-minded technology firms that rely on his recommendations to guide their way forward.

Currently, Mr. Hibbeln serves as a senior fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, the nation’s premier think tank for technology policy. He is also a senior advisor for Blackstone Private Equity, the world’s largest Private Equity and alternative asset manager, and is venture partner for SineWave Ventures, LLC,  an early-stage venture capital firm dedicated to accelerating technologies across the Fortune 500 and public sector ecosystems, in addition to serving on the board of publicly traded Australian firm, Whitehawk Ltd., a global online cybersecurity exchange.

Other key roles include serving as Chief Innovation Officer for NineTwelve, an accelerator connecting innovators with certified demonstration labs focused on microelectronics, 5G, hypersonics, space and sensors.  As part of this role Mr. Hibbeln was named the Vice Chairman of the Hypersonics Ground Test Center (HGTC) at Purdue University.

As co-founder of the United States Technology Leadership Council, Mr. Hibbeln is advancing U.S. technology leadership to benefit society.  Mr. Hibbeln also is a principle with Potomac Advocates, a leading Washington area government relations and lobbying firm.  He advises a number of technology organizations including the Entanglement Institute for quantum research.

Prior to entering the private sector, Mr. Hibbeln served over three decades in the U.S. Defense Department and Intelligence Community, the last decade in senior roles, including:

  • Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Special Capabilities in the Office of the Secretary of Defense;
  • First Director of the Special Capabilities Office, overseeing $2B+ in resources and leading Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations for intelligence, space, airborne, and other remote-sensing operations;
  • Director of the Remote Sensing Center-National Capital Region, where he managed $8B+ in government contracts, while delivering tech demonstrations and operational support to combatant commanders globally; and
  • Chief Scientist and Chief Systems Engineer of Space Programs in the United States Air Force, supporting Congressional staffs, senior policy decisionmakers, and numerous operational customers.

Before embarking on his government civilian career, Mr. Hibbeln was an active-duty Air Force officer assigned to working in the US Space Programs. Upon release from active duty, he was awarded the Joint Meritorious Service Medal, a certificate of achievement, and the Silver Medal. In 2001, he was recalled to active duty to serve in Operation Enduring Freedom, where he led several initiatives using national, civil, and commercial space systems to combat terrorism and provided operational support to forces and the Intelligence Community. He also served as White House Social Aide to the President as an additional duty.

Mr. Hibbeln earned a Master’s in Physics from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Physics from the United States Air Force Academy. At AFIT, he received an Air Force Invention Award and a U.S. patent for his work in pulsed power semiconductor switches.

Mr. Hibbeln’s defense career and success fast-tracking commercial technology to benefit the warfighter has been highlighted in the 2013 book, Deep State: Inside the U.S Government Secrecy Industry by Marc Ambinder and D.B. Grady, and in the 2021 book, Riding the Monster: Four Ways to Innovate Inside Bureaucracies by Eric Haseltine and Chris Gilbert.
