Employee Spotlight: Jessica Kozlowski

Q: What is your background?
A: Prior to joining NetCentrics, I held the position of Director, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition/Retention & Compliance with Axle Informatics, LLC. I then jumped into BIG DATA PROJECT…. pretty rad! I led an HR Team of 8, Talent Acquisition Team of 15 (including two Managers) and a MS Dynamics Automation & Data Team of 2. Prior to joining Axle, I held the position of Director, Human Resources & Talent Acquisition for CEXEC inc. where I was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, compliance & talent acquisition. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Constitutional Law & Political Philosophy (Pre-Law) with a Cognate in Operatic Studies from Michigan State University. I live with my husband and four children in Ashburn, VA. When not at work I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and spending time with Rocket and Bella, our two wonderful yet mischievous bernedoodle puppies.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Camping, fishing, hiking, rebuilding old cars (presently re-building ’69 Chevy C10 Pickup), singing, and road-trippin’

Q: If you had an extra hour every day, what would you do?
A: Exercise (UGH!)

Q: Who did you want to be when you were a kid?
A: Lucille Ball (from “I Love Lucy”)

Q: If you could know the total and absolute truth to one question, what question would it be?
A: What is the meaning of life?

Q: What is something that not many people know about you?
A: My professional life has me going a mile per minute, in my spare time I am a self proclaimed “SLACKER”. Unstructured weekends & vacations are my JAM!

Q: If computers didn’t exist, what would you want your job to be?
A: Working with Dyslexic Children (as a Certified Reading Specialist) by day, and doggedly tenacious child advocate and IEP Representative by night!
