Case Study: Coast Guard C4IT
NetCentrics helped lead the implementation of the Risk Management Framework methodology at the Coast Guard, which became the first on the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) to fully implement RMF.
NetCentrics represents the Security Control Assessor (SCA) and assists the ISSOs in the System Certification and Accreditation process to access controls, validate packages, and provide risk-based recommendations to approve or reject packages to the SCA before being submitted to the Certifying Authority (CA). The CA for USCG is responsible for validating 150 DIACAP and RMF packages annually, for which our team is responsible for every step within these processes.
