Cybersecurity capabilities
Cyber Governance and Strategy:  NetCentrics led one of the first implementations of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in the DoD, and has extensive C&A and A&A experience, as well as DIACAP and FISMA experience.  We have deep experience in compliance and risk management and have helped our customers prepare for Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI).

Security Operations Center:  NetCentrics runs one of the largest Network Operations and Security Centers (NOSC) in the Pentagon, standing a 24×7 watch.  We identify and introduce new security tools and applications and ensure excellent patch management.  Our teams performed one of the first implementations of the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS).

Cyber Defense:  We work with our clients to defend existing networks and data, starting with boundary applications such as Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention.  We conduct active penetration testing using Red Team approaches and conduct vulnerability assessments.

Cyber Offense:  We lead cyber hunting activities for our customers to identify threats within the network, and conduct CIRT and forensic investigations.

Analytics:  We are experts at leveraging cyber applications to gather and assess data about threats, conducting threat profile and threat mapping, analyzing data generated from cyber applications and synthesizing that data to create intel fusion.

Case Study: Coast Guard C4IT

NetCentrics helped lead the implementation of the Risk Management Framework methodology at the Coast Guard, which became the first on the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) to fully implement RMF.

NetCentrics represents the Security Control Assessor (SCA) and assists the ISSOs in the System Certification and Accreditation process to access controls, validate packages, and provide risk-based recommendations to approve or reject packages to the SCA before being submitted to the Certifying Authority (CA). The CA for USCG is responsible for validating 150 DIACAP and RMF packages annually, for which our team is responsible for every step within these processes.
