Employee Resource Groups
What is an Employee Resource Group?
Employee Resource Groups are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with the organizations they serve. Essentially, in-house clubs where employees can meet to discuss relevant topics, set goals of what they’d like to accomplish as a group, and host company-wide events related to their mission. ERG’s also:
- Promote cultural awareness
- Improve company innovation
- Foster an inclusive workplace
- Support learning and development by offering formal and informal leadership opportunities
- Create visibility for employees who are active
- Provide a resource for leadership and decision-makers regarding employee/community issues, needs and policies
Employee Resource Groups at NetCentrics
NetCentrics Senate
Much like the Roman Senate, the NetCentrics Senate Advisory Council is composed of NetCentrics’ up-and-coming thought leaders who will serve the Executive Leadership Team in an advisory capacity on various initiatives including Leadership Development, Human Resources, Effective Company Communications, Training and Employee Morale with intense focus on continuous improvement.

Veterans ERG
The mission of the Veteran’s ERG is to embrace our proud community of employee veterans who support and encourage each other through shared experiences, veteran recruitment, career development, outward engagement, professional growth and retention. Bringing together our unique background of military service members, we seek to harness these strengths to better serve NetCentrics, our community, and clients.
Open to all past and present service members and volunteers. We have a proud tradition of military service and look for opportunities to support fellow veterans.

Open to all women. We discuss ways to mentor women, as well as workplace issues, like childcare and eldercare, that may impact work-life balance.
