Will Long

Written January 28th, 2025

William “Will” Long, a valued member of the NetCentrics family, has joined us in July 2022 as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and has consistently brought expertise, passion, and a spirit of innovation to his role ever since. His contributions to the team have been invaluable, leaving a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the organization.

Will’s journey to NetCentrics is grounded in a distinguished background of service and dedication. As a proud veteran of the Air National Guard, Will earned the Afghanistan Campaign Medal for his exceptional contributions during military service. His career with the Guard culminated in retirement, a milestone that underscores his steadfast commitment and remarkable achievements. This dedication to service is mirrored in the leadership and creativity he brings to his work at NetCentrics.

Outside of work, Will is a dreamer with a thirst for adventure. He aspires to embark on an epic snowmobiling journey from New Brunswick to Alaska and hopes to experience the thrill of deep-sea fishing. One day, he also plans to achieve his goal of owning his own business, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and determination.

A colleague summed up Will’s impact perfectly: “Willy is the quintessential teammate. The impact he’s had at NetCentrics since joining in 2022 is immeasurable. As our Lead Cloud Security Engineer, he’s been instrumental in the development of bespoke cloud security solutions for our customers through innovative techniques and just good ol’ fashioned out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving. Willy is constantly looking for ways to learn and grow outside of his comfort zone. He is a culture carrier who wants to drive an amazing people experience at NetCentrics. He is selfless. He is… my teammate.”

We are grateful for Will’s contributions to NetCentrics, not only as a dedicated professional but as an inspiring colleague who embodies the values of service, innovation and teamwork. Thank you, Will, for everything you do to make NetCentrics a better place!
