Cybersecurity Center for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

NetCentrics Case Studies

Challenge

NetCentrics built a security operations center from the ground up for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and one of its primary subordinate organizations.

Solution

NetCentrics established a brand-new cybersecurity center for one of the Department of Homeland Security’s primary subordinate organizations. And we did it from the ground up.

Our team worked with DHS partners to design, develop, and deploy information technology throughout the center. All systems were carefully orchestrated to address vulnerabilities and enhance capabilities. The center is purpose-built with future scaling in mind.

NetCentrics’ in-house experts make this possible. The security center uses Microsoft System Center (SCCM/SCOM), HBSS/McAfee ePO, ACAS/Tenable Suite, IDS, EMET, and SIEM systems. Our work on these security suites includes engineering, integration, deployment, and maintenance.

Impact

NetCentrics led the project to conclusion in record time. We delivered a new cybersecurity operations center using specialized expertise and custom solutions. Thanks to training and staffing, the cybersecurity operations center was fully capable from day one. Today, it continues to meet and exceed demands.
